Dr. Shankar is a GP registrar with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Macquarie University. She completed her hospital training in Hornsby, fostering a keen interest in women’s health, mental health, dermatology, and paediatrics. Her qualifications include a Diploma in Child Health from Western Sydney University and the RANZCOG Certificate of Women’s Health. Additionally, she is trained in Implanon insertion and removal through Family Planning NSW.
Inspired by her childhood GP who provided compassionate and comprehensive care to her family, Dr. Shankar emphasises long-term patient relationships, aimed at enhancing quality of life. She is dedicated to delivering empathetic and holistic healthcare, striving to make a meaningful difference in her patients’ lives.
